The Tower Fell, after I blew it up.

Dearest Gentle-readers,

I'm not just restarting my professional journey; with Hecate's guidance, I'm aligning my reality with my deeper purpose, desires and dreams.. I am rising from my ashes, becoming more than I ever imagined. Saying "the tower fell" doesn't even begin to describe it. What truly occurred is that I finally discovered my worth, my voice, and my courage—all at once.

Three weeks ago, I was a Controller for a small company that had been declining for years due to the neglect of its owning family. My intelligence, contributions, and uniqueness went unnoticed. I believed I was hired to help revive a struggling business, but the reality was much smaller: they wanted obedience, not insight. They sought someone to follow orders while they tried to salvage what they had already let crumble. Not long ago, I would have willingly been that person, as I had been that excellent employee for many others.

For years, something inside me had been building—an inner pressure, a knowing—but like many people, I suppressed it, promising myself I'd address it "later," when life was calmer, when I could finally breathe. Restlessness kept creeping in. I craved challenge but found no satisfaction. I wanted creative freedom. I wanted to shine. I wanted something truly mine.

One night while scrolling TikTok, I saw a video challenging me to do something. For about a month, I repeated a mantra each night: "Tomorrow I will choose consciousness over conditioning, and I will be satisfied." Then every morning I started saying "I am awake now. I choose consciousness over conditioning, and I am satisfied."

Within days, I noticed changes. I wasn't mindlessly scrolling Amazon or Etsy. I wasn't glued to social media. I even started clearing out cabinets while listening to uplifting music. Really listening, feeling it in my soul. Able Heart has been a huge vibe—him and Peachkka both. One of my favorite things to do is feel Spirit move me and then I am off creating some new concoction for a witchy purpose, which I started doing almost daily. I even brought some room spray to work to make the negative environment a little lighter, I figured it couldn't hurt. Well, it worked. I even sold a few bottles of it.

Meanwhile, the same tired speech from my boss about needing "more work" from me—without compensation, of course—started to irk me on a level I hadn't realized it could. I noticed that while I was working tirelessly, the same nuisances got credit for just showing up for work. There's so much to how I reached this moment, just like all of us, it's impossible to explain in one sentence or even one book. I will share more about that wonderful place later, once the desire to launch my new life is fulfilled. I promise I will tell you all about it, after the lawsuits are settled.

So I quit, without notice, as it was the only way to preserve my sanity and keep my mind intact.

What's Changed?

Well, I am my own boss now. I decided to start my own business, selling things I create on my website, and sharing my own shadow journey with you. Basically, I get to make witchy things and sell them for a living.

It took two full weeks not to wake up with anxiety as soon as my eyes opened. I no longer replay that mess in my head; I've given it a happy ending for me as I ride off into my own sunset towards that big full moon on the horizon. I changed! I started choosing me, putting me first and not giving a damn whose feelings I hurt in the process, except my kids and husband. I found my voice, I found my passion and I found courage and confidence I didn't know I could have.
